CUMMING currently has an opening for a Sr. Cost Manager located in our Honolulu, HI office.

Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate estimates at schematic and design development level of design
Meet deadlines
Provide value engineering services
Set up work breakdown structure
Prepare task order
Deliver estimate in time allotted
Participate in business development endeavors
Review and estimate change orders
Reconcile with GC’s or peer review estimator
Assist in management and training of Cost Managers
Some travel required

Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in construction or related field
5-20 years experience in the construction industry
4-15 years of estimating / cost management experience
At least 3 years in a consulting and/or Construction Management environment
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
Prefer experience in On-Screen Takeoff
Good written and verbal skills
Must be able to interact with clients
Ability to prepare detailed, accurate estimates
Must be able to lead estimating team
Self starter and self directed
Able to multi-task and be flexible
