Description

BESTAgency is currently seeking performers for a new and exciting Hula show in Honolulu! The show will take place daily in the early afternoon. We are looking to cast the following:
FEMALE AND MALE HULA DANCERS: Dancers should be strong in Kahiko and Auana Hula styles of dance. Please bring your choice of music to audition to. Please be warmed and ready to dance at the beginning of the call. Females please wear sarong with a white tank top and bring implements and a bikini top. Males please wear Lava Lava or Pareau and be prepared to be shirtless. Please bring a current, non-returnable photo and resume with you.
EMCEE/VOCALIST: Emcee should have experience hosting a show, interacting with an audience and be familiar with Hula styles of dance. Ability to sing and move well is preferred. Please prepare a short monologue along with 16 bars of a musical selection. You may bring a pre-recorded background track with you. Please come dressed to impress and bring a current, non-returnable photo and resume with you.
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: Rehearsals will be held October 31st – November 4th and November 7th through November 11th, from 10am – 2pm. Rehearsals are mandatory and all cast members will be expected to attend.
